Thanks for your enquiry Clare, I hope you’re well and safe?

The date you have in mind is already booked I’m afraid as Pat hosts all 16 summer Let’s Rock festivals around the UK and Ireland every Saturday from May through September.

Thanks for thinking of him, but theatrical performing and singing are not really his thing to be honest, he’s more of a host / DJ as you may already know.

Hi There I was wondering if you could help. I am interested in hiring Pat Sharp for a theatre show next year.

We are a non-profit youth theatre company, so require a celebrity who is
comfortable working with our talented group of students aged from
10-16.

Any information you could provide in relation to the details below would be
appreciated, in addition to costing and terms if possible.

The exact requirements of our show and other information you may deem
pertinent are as follows:

Show date: 29th May 2021 (Both 1pm Matinee and 6pm Evening shows)

Show title and Running time: Happily Ever After (90 mins)

Cast size: 16 children, 1 adult (to be hired). Professional dance school
performing additional background dances.

Venue: Princes Theatre, Clacton on Sea, Essex (800 seat capacity)

Previous show performance: Alice in Wonderland 517 seats sold. (no celebrity appearance)

Show synopsis: A mix and match of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales, featuring King William,
Cinderella, Rumplestiltskin, The Pied Piper, Rapunzel, Evil Princess Prescilla and
others. Clean and fun family entertainment.

Character: King, Ruler of fairy tale land and the father to Evil Princess Prescilla and Cinderella. He will be stepping down as king and is looking for a new replacement. His evil daughter thinks this should be her! He is a very fun, excitable and lovable character that is easily fooled by his evil daughter. A great leading funny role with of course a happily ever after.

Participation requirement: 80-120 lines maximum, 5- 7 scenes appeared. Small participation in the finale dance and a small amount of singing as a group in the finale.

Rehearsals: Minimum of two rehearsals, tech and dress rehearsals the
Wednesday and Thursday before the show.* At the theatre plus an Additional minimum of 4
rehearsals at our Frinton on Sea rehearsal venue (where possible)

Script availability: Script to be available 2-3 months after contract signing as the lines for
this particular character will be written specifically to fit the celebrity
by a professional script writer with TV and theatre credits.

Flexibility: If hired we are happy to work with you to incorporate your own ideas into the script, maximising the effectiveness of the talent on offer.

Budget: we have a budget of £3000 including VAT. (Negotiable)

Contract: A written contract protecting both yourself and our company will be drawn up and signed by both parties. Included in the contract will be all necessary payment details once we have reached an agreement.

*A month or so prior to the show date, depending on rehearsal involvement, we will also provide a video of the necessary scenes with a stand-in actor, in order for you to get
up to speed with the performance and gauge timing.
